Lois Foxman died peacefully on Nov. 25, 2025, in Farmington, Conn.
Lois was born Nov. 9, 1929, to Louis and Sadie (nee Ross) Katz. She graduated college with a degree in journalism, and later received her master’s degree in library science at Case Western Reserve University.
During her career, Lois worked as a school librarian for the Euclid school system. Upon her retirement, she worked at Saks Fifth Avenue, and she volunteered at the Beachwood Cleveland Clinic.
A loving wife, mother and grandmother, Lois is survived by her children, son Michael (Valerie) Foxman of Atlanta, Ga., and dearest daughter Jill (Bob) Staubitz of Collinsville, Conn., her adored granddaughters, Lauren, Emily, Danielle and Samantha and her great-grandson, Jake.
