One week after missing his first game of the season due to a wrist injury, Aaron Rodgers returned to the starting lineup, but his tendency to hold on to the ball in the pocket came back to haunt him and the Steelers again. Rodgers was blindsided on the first play of the second half by Bills edge rusher Joey Bosa. Christian Benford scooped up the fumble and scored to give the Bills their first lead of the game. Rodgers also was knocked out of the game with a cut on his nose for a series, which forced Mason Rudolph into the contest. Rudolph promptly threw an interception to set up another Buffalo touchdown. Rodgers went back in, but his miserable day continued. He finished the game
