Steelers defensive lineman Cam Heyward was frustrated with the officiating in Sunday’s 26-7 loss to Buffalo after he said Bills quarterback Josh Allen purposefully kneed him in the stomach in the first half. Heyward and Allen got up jawing at each other after Heyward tackled Allen early in the game.
“I was ticked off the entire game because, as quarterbacks, they’re protected and I’m not,” Heyward said. “It pisses me off.”
Heyward let his frustrations get the best of him later in the game. In the third quarter, after Allen threw a touchdown pass to put the Bills up 16-7, Heyward was called for taunting after the play.
