An amber weather warning has been issued in parts of Wales, with yellow weather warnings scattered across the rest of the UK with h eavy rain likely to cause disruption. The Met Office have urged people to be prepared for flooding as the weather warning begins at midnight on Monday, December 1 and is in place all day.

Senior meteorologist for the Met Office Marco Petagna has suggested that a month's worth of rain could fall in just 24 hours as downpours are expected across the nation, reports
