SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - The family of a Savannah father is hoping for justice this week, but that is expected to be postponed.
Two weeks ago, the State filed a motion to continue this murder trial, after conflicts with hearings in other cases. The Defense did not object to the motion to continue either.
The motion has not yet been ruled on and is expected to be brought up Monday morning in front of Judge Walmsley.
29-year-old Alexis Marie Williams and 29-year-old Angelo Lamount Harley will appear before the judge, facing multiple charges, including felony murder.
Harley and Williams are charged in the 2023 shooting death of 38-year-old Jose Ramirez during an armed robbery on Labor Day.
The shooting happened around 8:20 that night on Smart and Cleland Streets. The indictment says the
