OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - Monday morning is a First Alert 6 Weather Day as widespread snow showers may impact the morning commute.
Light snow showers will begin overnight starting out as isolated then becoming widespread by Monday morning. The heavier snow is still looking to be south of I-80, but scattered light snow is likely in the metro through the commute. While overall amounts are light, the timing could create issues as kids head back to school and the commute gets underway after the Thanksgiving holiday.
To the S the snow lingers a bit later and will be heavier. It will wrap up by the early afternoon hours. The evening commute should not be impacted.
