NEWPORT NEWS, Va. — A teenager has life-threatening injuries after a shooting in the 700 block of Lance Drive in Newport News Sunday evening.
The call came in around 8:30 p.m., according to Newport News police. They were responding to a call of shots fired.
The neighborhood is off J. Clyde Morris Boulevard.
When they arrived, officers found a teenager suffering from life-threatening injuries, according to a press release from Newport News police.
One neighbor said they did not know what happened and did not want to speak on camera.
