A number of criminals have been jailed in the past month including violent rapists and other sex offenders. One case saw a man travelled from his home in Wales with the intention of sexually abusing a teenage boy he had targeted through social media.

In another case, a woman was raped following a night out in a pub in East Malling. At least 25 people have been jailed for a wide range of crimes.

Violent rapist jailed

Violent abuser Billy Cass from Rainham has been jailed for 15 years after subjecting his victim to a series of attacks. The-34-year-old, of Rainham High Street, raped his victim multiple times including while she slept.
