Bosses at Merry Hill reassured shoppers that the giant centre was still a safe place to visit following a stabbing.
Horrified visitors rang 999 when a group of males chased another gang through the complex at around 3.30pm on Friday, November 30.
A 17-year-old suffered a cut to his back with a machete and was taken to hospital.

A 16-year-old was arrested at around 5pm on Saturday, November 29 on suspicion of wounding with intent.
Jonathan Poole, centre manager at Merry Hill, called it an 'isolated incident' and it remained a safe place for everyone.
