Merseyrail services were impacted by cancellations and changes to normal routes this morning.

Services heading to Ormskirk and Hunts Cross were affected. These are located on the Northern Line.

Merseyrail posted on X at 7.44am: "Due to a train fault, services on the Ormskirk and Hunts Cross lines face cancellations or alterations."
