CHICAGO (WLS) -- Monday, a son of Mexican drug lord Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman is expected to change his plea in a drug trafficking case.

Joaquín Guzmán López previously pleaded "not guilty."

But now, he's expected to plead guilty during a court appearance in Chicago Monday.

Federal prosecutors previously said they will not seek the death penalty for Guzmán López.

Another son, Ovidio Guzmán López pleaded guilty to drug trafficking charges in July.
