NEWBURGH – A developer has proposed building a large apartment complex at 825-829 Broadway in the City of Newburgh not far from the town line.
City Manager Todd Venning said the facility would be a mixed-use project.
“After receiving a use variance to construct a 57-unit apartment, at 835 to 829 Broadway, the property owner will be seeking planning board approval over the next few months,” he said. “The project will also include over 5,000 square feet of retail space, a landscaped parking area and enhanced views of the Quassaick Creek.”
The project will have to undergo the city’s review and approval processes before it is given the green light to proceed.
