Dad-of-three Paul Doyle is likely to serve his time in a secure hospital rather than behind bars after being diagnosed with PTSD, it has been claimed. The 54-year-old is a former Royal Marine Commando who later worked as a cyber security expert.
His seven minutes of horror during Liverpool's trophy parade led to 134 attendees being injured, with people left trapped underneath his Ford Galaxy Titanium. The youngest victim was six-month-old Teddy Eveson, who was thrown about 15 feet down the road in his pram when the crash happened. At the opening of his trial, officials said it was only by "sheer luck" no-one was killed.
