The York County Coroner’s Office has publicly identified an 80-year-old woman killed in a Thanksgiving head-on collision .
Chanceford Township resident Carolyn Garner was the front-seat passenger in a GMC Envoy that collided with a Subaru Outback at about 5:30 p.m. near Delta and Snyder roads in the township, according to the York County Coroner’s Office.
The Envoy was headed south on Delta Road when an oncoming driver entered the southbound lane while trying to pass another northbound vehicle. Instead, the northbound vehicle crashed head-on into the Envoy, the coroner’s office said.
The coroner’s office said Garner died at the scene from blunt force injuries. Her death was ruled accidental.
