COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Ohio State’s defense dominated Michigan on its way to a 27-9 win.

The Wolverines started the game with a 36-yard run from Ohio native Jordan Marshall . It even managed to tally up 108 rushing yards in the first half. Then it finished with 100 rushing yards for the game and 163 total yards while failing to score in the second half.

That effort was led by Kayden McDonald , who has turned himself into a hot commodity in the 2026 NF Draft. McDonald recorded five tackles and had a team-high Pro Football Focus grade of 80.2.

Joining him was Caleb Downs , who finally got his first win over the Wolverines after losing as both a Buckeye and an Alabama Crimson Tide. Downs recorded three tackles, a pass breakup and earned an 80.1 PFF grade.
