A man is facing DUI manslaughter charges after an 18-year-old teen girl was killed and five others were seriously hurt in a crash on Thanksgiving in Osceola County.

The suspect, 44-year-old Eddie Edmond from Davenport, was booked into the Osceola County Jail on Friday morning.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the crash happened on Thanksgiving evening just before midnight on State Road 538 (Poinciana Parkway) near Sienna Boulevard.

Investigators say Edmond was driving a 2004 Acura MDX westbound on Poinciana Parkway when he didn't stop for traffic ahead of him.
