After years of public debate and political wrangling, the three remaining downstate casino proposals are now in the hands of the state’s siting board.

The Bally’s plan in the Bronx, the Metropolitan Park proposal next to Citi Field and the Resorts World expansion in Queens have all cleared every step leading up to this final review.

State Sen. Joseph Addabbo Jr., who chairs the committee overseeing gaming, joined “Mornings On 1” Monday to explain what comes next and why some may not receive a license.
