As winter settles in and morning walks feel sharper, dogs face new challenges outdoors. Cold air strains their ability to stay warm, and frost, wind, and wet conditions are a chilling combination for any warm-blooded mammal.

Cold weather can be particularly challenging for lean, short-haired dog breeds, or older dogs suffering from arthritis. In times like these, owners may choose to wrap up their dogs in jumpers or dog coats.
