OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - An Omaha firefighter was injured while helping put out a fire at a storage facility late Sunday.
Crews were called to the scene near 138th Street and Industrial Road just before 8:30 p.m. Sunday.
When they arrived, they saw smoke and flames coming from several units at the facility.
According to a report, it took about 1 hour and 30 minutes to get the fire under control. OFD says the hospitalized firefighter suffered injuries from slipping on the icy conditions.
There was about $150,000 worth of damage done to the facility from the incident, the report reads. The fire is under investigation.
