Brian Walshe faces trial for the murder of his wife, Ana, Monday as opening statements kick off two weeks after he admitted to dismembering her to get rid of her body.
Walshe, 50, is accused of killing his 39-year-old spouse, with whom he shared three kids around New Year’s Day 2023.
Prosecutors and defense attorneys are expected to begin with opening remarks Monday morning in the Norfolk County Superior Court in Dedham, Mass.
Just before jury selection began last month, Walshe, a real estate executive from Cohasset, admitted to the lesser charges of the case — that he dismembered her body and disposed of the remains in dumpsters which were incinerated as part of the disposal process.
He has maintained his innocence in connection to her slaying.
Ana’s body still hasn’t been found
