DETROIT - Southeast Michigan won’t see the heavy snow piling up tonight like certain parts of West Michigan is forecast to get, but there are still snow showers in the forecast.
Light snow is expected to start accumulating tonight over the Detroit region as a whole. While northern areas could see just a dusting of snow, areas along I-94 and south of that corridor could see up to 2 inches of snow tonight.
And we can expect these cold temperatures to last all week - and get even colder by Wednesday and Thursday. That’s when an Arctic front will sweep into Michigan, dropping our wind chills to the single digits.
