WACO, Texas — At the Butcher's Cellar , executive chef Alejandro Najar is redefining what it means to dine in Central Texas. With a focus on hospitality, growth, and locally sourced ingredients, Najar blends fine dining with a welcoming atmosphere for both casual diners and food connoisseurs.
“I’ve always been a part of cooking. My father was a chef, my mother was a chef, my grandmother and my aunt always took me out to eat to like all these fancy restaurants,” Najar said. “By the age of 10, I knew that I always wanted to be an executive chef… it was either that or a professional wrestler like WWE. And I knew that wouldn’t happen, so cook it was.”
