The wife of a missing US football coach now wanted on child sex abuse charges has deleted her social media activity.

Travis Turner, 46, vanished last week and was initially considered missing, prompting urgent pleas for his whereabouts from his family worried about his welfare. But he then became a wanted man facing charges of possessing child sexual abuse material and using a computer to solicit a minor, police in Virginia said.
