BECKLEY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A Beckley man is accused of sexually abusing three children over the years.

According to the West Virginia State Police, James Anthony Vannatter, of Beckley, was arrested last week on charges stemming from sexual abuse, sexual assault, incest, and the use of obscene material.

Troopers say that the exact years of sexual abuse are currently unknown, but they can go back as far as August 2018.

One of the victims, an underage child, said that on several occasions, Vannatter would sexually abuse her and make her watch porn. She told authorities that she knew of six different incidents.

Another victim, who is an adult, told authorities that she was also abused sexually by Vannatter as a child, but never reported it.
