PEORIA, Ill. – Another round of snow is expected in the Peoria area Monday afternoon and evening, though we won’t see nearly as much snow as we did over the weekend.
Peoria Public Works’ Nick McMillion tells WMBD’s “Greg and Dan” that crews are prepping for the snow to start between noon and 2 p.m.
“Once it does start, our drivers will go back out there, and they’ll start treating the main arterial roads, and we’ll focus on that. And, if we meet that two inch threshold (of snow), then we will go back into the residentials once the snow has stopped,” McMillion says.
The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory from Noon to 6AM Tuesday…with 2-4 inches of snow expected.
