N.C. State football will start the 2026 season against Virginia as part of “College Football Brasil” in the first college football game in South America.
The Wolfpack and Cavaliers will play in the ACC matchup on Saturday, Aug. 29, 2026, at Nilton Santos Stadium (Engenhão) in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
“This will be a once-in-a-lifetime trip for our team and program and will be something our guys will remember for their entire lives,” N.C. State head coach Dave Doeren , who is returning for a 14th season, said in a school-issued statement.
“We are looking forward to experiencing the culture of Brazil while also providing the fans in Rio an exciting football game against a great opponent.”
