Police issue update after dozens of arrests at protest View Image

Police have issued an update after 31 people were arrested at a protest in Bristol city centre on Saturday, November 29.

Avon and Somerset Police said 30 people were arrested after expressing support for Palestine Action, with one other woman arrested on suspicion of failing to provide details under the Police Reform Act 2002, at the protest on College Green.

The mass arrest took more than three hours as police officers arrested one protester after another, then leading or carrying them away to waiting police vans.

In an update today (December 1), the police force told BristolLive that all 31 people who were arrested have been released on bail.
