Earlier this year, Andrey Ivchenko bravely went public with a terrifying, private health battle. The Stranger Things alum — who played the role of the menacing hitman Grigori in Season 3 — told Life & Style that he'd been diagnosed with grade 2 chondrosarcoma, a type of bone cancer that often will not "respond to chemo or radiation." Instead, he learned that he would need to have his pelvis and hip replaced with a titanium prosthetic. Following a major surgery that lasted roughly nine hours and required "several blood transfusions," Ivchenko thankfully made it out alive and well, but the road ahead of him would prove to be a difficult one as he fought infection and went through physical therapy.
