The coaching change at Michigan State football is firing up the transfer portal again.
The school fired Jonathan Smith on Sunday Nov. 30, and that started the anticipated roster churn that comes with those personnel decisions. Because of NCAA rules changes this fall , players now cannot enter the transfer portal until five days after a new coach is hired or announced, and they have a 15-day window to find a new school after that.
