COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - Sunday night’s snowfall marks a step towards the winter season. With Sunday’s snowy conditions, collisions have already occurred, along with vehicles sliding off the road. Colorado State Patrol (CSP) said they’ve seen a 5-10% increase in crashes during the wintertime over the summer in the past two years. With conditions making the roads more difficult to navigate, it’s important to be proactive by having your vehicle ready for what’s ahead.

According to CDOT, in the fall of 2025, Colorado’s Traction Law was updated, requiring vehicles to have a tread depth of 3/16-inch. These tires must be winter, all-weather rated, or mud and snow. Built for action means good traction.
