GREENVILLE COUNTY, S.C. —

A Greenville man is accused of shooting a young family member through the front door of a home.

Greenville County deputies said the shooting happened last month on Creekland Way .

Deputies said Jovan Thaire Marston, 21, was inside a home and heard someone standing at the front door.

Marston fired multiple rounds at the front door, striking a juvenile who was related to him.

Marston was charged with assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature, and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

Marston was taken to the Greenville County Detention Center.
