NORFOLK, Va. — A man has died, and another has been charged after a shooting last week in Ocean View, Norfolk police said.

Officers were called around 8 p.m. on November 25 to the Tinee Giant parking lot on the 100 block of West Ocean View Avenue, where they found Tyrone Walker, 27, of Norfolk, with a life-threatening gunshot wound.

A short time later, police located a second man, Trevonte Dugue, 29, also of Norfolk, with a gunshot wound in the 1800 block of East Ocean View Avenue. Investigators determined he was injured in the same shooting.

Police said the preliminary investigation revealed the two men had been involved in a verbal argument in the parking lot before shots were fired.

Both men were taken to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital with life-threatening injuries. Walker succum
