LaCenter, KY- Major (Ret.) Nickey Hutcherson died November 30, 2025, at the age 89. Major Hutcherson was born in Cairo, IL, November 9, 1936, to Charles and Fannie (Horn) Hutcherson. He lived in several communities during his early years, as his father was an ironworker and moved often. He graduated from Ballard Memorial High School in 1955, a member of the first sophomore class.

Nick is survived by his wife and sweetheart, Faye Hutcherson, of LaCenter, KY; his son, Donnie Hutcherson (Marla) of FL; daughter, Debra Rollins (Michael) of Barlow, KY; sister, Gail Reno of Barlow, KY; seven grandchildren, Morgan Robertson (Ryan), Mason Hutcherson (Mallorie), Jayde Dodge (Blake), Jordan Merryman (Austin), Jesse Wilkey (Adam), Riley Parker (Clayton) and Jack Rollins (Cam); eleven great grandchild
