Ed Weeks ( The Mindy Project ) has joined the leading cast of the CBS pilot Eternally Yours , from Joe Port and Joe Wiseman, showrunners and executive producers of the hit comedy Ghosts . Weeks will portray the character of Charles on the single-camera comedy set to shoot in early 2026.

Eternally Yours will tell an eternal love story about two vampires who have been married for five hundred years, and their struggles to accept the human who is dating their daughter.

Weeks’ character Charles is one half of a vampire couple that is currently locked in the fifth century of an interminable marriage (the other half being his wife Liz). Nobility back in the Middle Ages, Charles is now a pencil pusher who, along with his family, has to move every few years to avoid attracting attent
