HARTFORD, Conn. (WFSB) - The Connecticut Interscholastic Athletic Conference has rescheduled all quarterfinal and semifinal football tournament games because of an approaching winter storm.

Quarterfinal games will now be played Wednesday, December 3 at 6:30 p.m., according to John Holt, CIAC.

Semifinal games have been moved to Monday, December 8 at 6:30 p.m.

Championship weekend plans remain under review, but officials confirmed no games will take place Friday, December 12.

A coastal storm system is expected to bring Connecticut’s first measurable snow of the season Tuesday. The storm will begin Tuesday morning and continue through the afternoon, creating difficult driving conditions during both rush hours.
