Goalkeeper: CHRISTIAN WALTON

Made some decent stops in the 2-1 defeat at Oxford and commanded his box well. Alex Palmer won't walk back into the team when fit.

Right-back: DARNELL FURLONG

Limited Hull's left-sided threat last Tuesday and didn't do an awful lot wrong at Oxford. I've got him in this predicted XI, but I do wonder if Ashley Young's cameo on Friday hints at him coming in for a first start since the Charlton home loss.

Right-sided centre-back: DARA O'SHEA

Now is when his leadership qualities need to come to the fore. Defended like a warrior at Hull. Same may be required again.

Left-sided centre-back: JACOB GREAVES
