Train services to London disrupted after person was hit

Train services to and from London have been cancelled after a person was hit by a train.

Greater Anglia has confirmed that routes connecting Norwich and London Liverpool Street will be affected.

The route from Ipswich to London Liverpool Street is also facing disruptions.

Passengers are being warned to expect cancellations and delays to services whilst the emergency services deal with the incident

Emergency services are currently at the scene of the incident between Shenfield and Chelmsford.

Greater Anglia is currently trying to source rail replacement buses for those who have been affected.
