It took a while, but Alexander Isak has finally broken his duck in the Premier League , scoring his first goal for Liverpool in the competition since signing for the club in the summer transfer window. The Reds paid £125 million to land the Swedish international, who had become a clinical goal-scorer while at Newcastle.

With his arrival, along with those of Florian Wirtz , Hugo Ekitike , and a new contract for Mohamed Salah , there was a feeling that the side would be unstoppable. They haven't all quite clicked yet, which has been evident in the struggles that the team have faced so far this season.
