Two students were robbed at gunpoint last night near West Lot 2 on Rice University’s campus, according to the Rice University Police Department.
The incident was reported at 8:19 p.m. Sunday night, and fortunately, neither student was injured during the robbery.

RUPD said three male suspects in their 20s, all with slim athletic builds, were involved. One suspect was described as wearing a gray beanie, green top, and gray pajama pants.
Sources confirmed the suspects stole a cell phone from one of the students but returned the victim’s backpack.
After the robbery, the suspects fled on foot toward Rice Boulevard and University Entrance 17 and have not been identified or caught. R
