MUSKEGON, Michigan — An elderly man is dead after an apparent homicide, the City of Muskegon Police Department says.
Police were called to a home in the 1400 block of Jiroch Street around 9:30 a.m. Monday. There, they found a 72-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper body.
He was pronounced dead at the scene. Police are investigating the case as a homicide.
Officials are not identifying the man or any information about a suspect at this time.
