Light Up Seaport Presented by Citizens brings the city together for a magical evening of celebration and holiday entertainment to Boston Seaport . Now in its ninth year, this beloved community tradition kicks off the season with the lighting of Boston’s largest holiday tree, vibrant live performances, and a special appearance by Seaport’s own winter celebrity, Betty the Yeti .

This Friday, December 5 , Boston’s largest holiday tree standing at 52 feet tall and adorned with more than 10,000 twinkling lights will light up Seaport Common. The program, hosted by Cheermeisters Ashlee Feldman of JAM’N 94.5 and Herv JeanBaptiste , will feature performances by Boston City SIngers , Hill House The Band , Lourde Childs , The Gracenotes , Bermuda Search Party ,
