PORT ALLEN, La. (WAFB) - Detectives are asking for help identifying the person accused of burglarizing a store in Port Allen.

According to the West Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office, the burglary happened around 9:30 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 17, at the Dollar General on LA 1 South.

Deputies responded to an alarm at the business, where they reportedly found the glass on the front door of the business shattered

According to the sheriff’s office, video surveillance showed an unknown person entering the store, taking merchandise, and fleeing the area.
