EUGENE — Oregon could be without two starters for its Big Ten opener.
Center Nate Bittle (ankle) and forward Devon Pryor (groin) are both “very questionable” for Tuesday’s game (7 p.m., FS1) against No. 24 USC, Dana Altman said on Monday.
They each missed practice on Saturday and Sunday, Altman said.
Bittle twisted his ankle in UO’s loss to San Diego State on Nov. 25 and did not play against Creighton on Nov. 27. UO’s leading scorer and rebounder, Bittle is averaging 16.3 points and 7.8 rebounds this season.
“We’re definitely a different team when Nate’s not on the floor,” Altman said. “If you look at any facet, when Nate’s on the floor we’re a different team.”
