NBC is bringing back Wicked: One Wonderful Night for a special encore presentation on New Year’s Eve, Dec. 31 at 8 pm ET/PT.

The special, which initially aired Nov. 6, drew 3.6M viewers across platforms after three days, per Nielsen, making it the network’s second best special of the year, coming in behind only February’s SNL50: The Anniversary Special .

Filmed at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, the two-hour special is led by Wicked: For Good stars Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande, who perform alongside co-stars Jeff Goldblum, Ethan Slater, Bowen Yang and Marissa Bode.

The special also includes an emotional reunion with Idina Menzel, Kristin Chenoweth, Erivo and Grande in a performance of “For Good”, from the Gershwin Theatre in New York City, the location of the original
