BATAVIA - Eddie Lee Garner Sr., a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Nov. 30, 2025, at the age of 82.

Born on July 11, 1943, in Raleigh, N.C., Eddie's life was marked by his unwavering dedication to his family and his passion for helping others. He worked tirelessly as a horse trainer, a profession that not only showcased his strong work ethic but also his deep compassion and love for animals. Eddie's humor, kindness, and generosity left a lasting impression on everyone he met. He was a man who found joy in laughter and was known for his unwavering love for Katherine, the mother of his children.
