CLARKSBURG, W.Va. — The FBI's Criminal Justice Information Services Division is currently accepting nominations and applications for the 2026 Citizens Academy.

The deadline for applications and nominations is Jan. 2.

Nominations for the 2026 class may be submitted by past and/or present FBI employees, Citizens Academy graduates, or any individual wishing to nominate themselves. Individuals nominated must be in good standing in the community.

Once nominated, each nominee will be contacted by FBI personnel to complete an application. Participants are selected by management of the FBI's CJIS Division.
