St. Charles grain elevator collapse closes part of Highway 74

ST. CHARLES, Minn. – A grain elevator collapse has closed a road in southeastern Minnesota.

The St. Charles Police Department says the elevator is located on Highway 74. The Minnesota Department of Transportation says the road is closed between East 15 th Street and US 14.

A detour is expected to remain in place until close to 4 pm.
