ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — No students were on board a school bus when it crashed into a utility pole on Monday morning.
A Cobb County Schools bus struck and removed from service a traffic signal at Atlanta Road and East Dixie Avenue in Marietta.

“We appreciate the quick response from safety crews and are thankful no students were on the bus,” the district said in a statement.
Drivers were asked to find alternate routes during the repair work.
