HOLYOKE — Police arrested a man Friday after responding to a report of a gun, police said Monday.
Santiago Soltren-Ramirez, 37, faces drug and motor vehicle charges, including heroin and cocaine possession, and driving with a suspended license, Holyoke Police Chief Brian Keenan said in a statement on social media.
Around 3 a.m. Friday, an officer patrolling Main Street was informed that a man in the area might have a gun, Keenan said.
After being identified by police, they found Soltren-Ramirez, 37, sitting in an unregistered, uninsured car at a gas station.
As another officer arrived to assist, Soltren-Ramirez drove away from the gas station, Keenan said.
