MADISON, Wis. -- Another winning weekend for the No. 1 Wisconsin women's hockey team resulted in two Badgers receiving honors.
Lacey Eden was named WCHA Forward of the Week and Caroline Harvey was named WCHA Defender of the Week, after the Badgers beat Mercyhurst, 5-1, on Saturday and dismantled Stonehill, 17-2, on Sunday to win the SMASHVILLE Women's Collegiate Hockey Showcase.
Eden scored four points in both wins. She had two goals and two assists against Mercyhurst then a goal and two assists against Stonehill. In the process, she became the ninth player in Badger history to tally 200 career points.
Harvey had three assists against Mercyhurst, breaking the record for most career points by a WCHA defender. She then added to her tally with four assists against Stonehill.
